Tiny House Tour- South Hampton Petite Retreat
Hey Beautiful Souls! I am so excited to show you my first Tiny Home stay! A 5-hour drive from NYC to NH/MA,
This tiny home left me with a big impact. I decided to go with the Henry home from Petite Retreats in Tuxbury Tiny House Village based in South Hampton, NH. I loved the aesthetics of this cabin. Nestled in the woods the cabin was beautifully made with cedar wood which left the home smelling like I was in a tree house. The village was surrounded by a beautiful lily pad pond which they offered kayaking for only $3.75 an hour! There was also a pool, basketball court, and a peaceful nature walk. Not to mention it was also a 20-minute drive from a beautiful beach!
Tiny house living taught me how easy it is to live like a minimalist. I was always fascinated with the idea of living in a tiny cabin nestled in nature. I wanted a chance to see if I could actually enjoy it and after a week I can definitely see myself living like this!
As always I find myself healing in the places I traveled. I reflected a lot but one day, in particular, was special. It was a rainy day and I spent most of the day listening to the rain drops. It finally stopped and I decided to walk on the natural pathway by the pond it was there I experience the most magical moment. The sunset was filled with bright hues of red and a swan came up to me and greeted me. I couldn’t believe how magical this moment was.
It taught me that there are times when life will seem dull but no matter what there will be light at the end of the tunnel. Or in this case a beautiful bright sunset.
I highly recommend you experience this for yourself. Take a break from the mundane lifestyle and book yourself a tiny house. Trust me you will leave with a beautiful experience.
